Before booking your session with Forlover (COMPANY), please review our terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
Scope of Work
- Our services include photography and/or videography for your scheduled session ("the shoot"), as detailed in your invoice. Post-processing and editing will be provided to enhance your deliverables.
Fees
- A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, payable via Paynow or bank transfer.
- Full payment of the remaining balance is due no later than 2 days after the shoot date.
- A late fee of $50 per day will be charged for payments made 5 days after the shoot date.
- If the shoot is cancelled by the CLIENT, cancellation terms will apply.
- An express editing fee of $250 will apply if the CLIENT requests delivery before the estimated lead time. Upon receipt of the fee, the deliverables will be completed and delivered within 2 weeks.
Scheduling
- CLIENT must confirm COMPANY’s availability before booking.
- Pre-wedding shoots (weekdays only unless agreed otherwise) must be scheduled in advance and at least 3 months before the wedding date.
Rescheduling
- For wedding day bookings, any rescheduling request made less than six months before the scheduled shoot date will be treated as a cancellation, and the applicable cancellation terms will apply.
- The CLIENT may reschedule a wedding day booking up to one time, subject to availability.
- For non-wedding-day bookings, one last-minute reschedule due to weather-related or sickness-related reasons is permitted at no additional charge.
- Failure to attend the session on the agreed date without prior notice (no-show) will result in forfeiture of the full session.
Cancellations
- For cancellations made more than three months prior to the scheduled shoot date, deposit payments may, at COMPANY’s discretion, be converted into transferable booking credits for future services with COMPANY. The credit value shall be calculated at 50% of the deposit amount (i.e. $1 converts to $0.50 in credits) and must be utilised within one year from the original booking date.
- For cancellations made less than three months prior to the scheduled shoot date, all deposit payments shall be forfeited.
Costs Covered by CLIENT
- CLIENT is responsible for all transportation fees during booking hours, either by providing transport or reimbursing COMPANY.
- For shoots lasting over 4 hours during meal times, CLIENT must provide meals for COMPANY.
Deliverables
Photography
- Edited photos will be delivered via an online gallery within an estimated timeframe of 6–12 weeks from the final payment. This timeframe is a non-guaranteed estimate and may be subject to change at COMPANY's discretion due to workload, peak periods, unforeseen circumstances, or factors beyond reasonable control.
- Expect a minimum of 30 edited photos per booking hour.
- Raw files will not be provided.
- All delivered photos will be professionally edited for tone, colour, and overall consistency in Forlover’s signature style. Any additional retouching requests beyond standard editing, including but not limited to body sculpting or physical appearance alterations, will be charged at $5 per photo with a cap at 50 photos maximum.
Videography
- Video(s) will be delivered via an online gallery within an estimated timeframe of 6–12 weeks from the final payment. This timeframe is a non-guaranteed estimate and may be subject to change at COMPANY's discretion due to workload, peak periods, unforeseen circumstances, or factors beyond reasonable control.
- Pre-wedding videos: 1–3 minutes.
- Post-wedding highlights: 4–8 minutes.
- Raw files will not be provided.
Same-Day Edit (SDE) Video
- Same-Day Edits are only applicable for wedding timelines that cater for a morning + dinner event.
- Same-Day Edits must be confirmed at least 3 months before the wedding and are subject to availability of manpower.
- Editing time: 5 uninterrupted hours on the event day must be allocated for COMPANY.
- Space requirements: CLIENT must provide a suitable editing space with power access.
- Pre-event call: A mandatory call will finalize SDE details.
- Required assets (e.g., vows or audio files): Must be submitted at least 3 days before the event.
- COMPANY is not liable for delays or inability to deliver SDE videos due to unforeseen circumstances.
Revisions
- Photo revisions: $10 per photo (capped at $200 for the full gallery).
- Video revisions:
- Single clip changes: Free for the first revision, subsequent revisions will be $100 per revision.
- Major revisions (e.g., music changes, changes in portions of the video): $250 per revision (capped at 3 revisions).
- Music choices for videos will be selected by COMPANY to ensure compliance with copyright licensing.
- Raw files and footage will be deleted 30 days after delivery of the gallery.
Copyright and Use
- All images and videos captured by COMPANY are copyrighted and remain the intellectual property of COMPANY.
- The CLIENT is granted a personal-use license, allowing them to print, share, and distribute the images and videos for non-commercial purposes with credit to COMPANY.
- COMPANY reserves the right to use selected images and videos for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes.
- Raw, unedited files are not included in any package.
Client Responsibilities
- Obtain permissions for COMPANY to shoot at venues.
- COMPANY is not liable for restrictions, fines, or denied access due to lack of permissions.
- Ensure deliverables are downloaded and safely stored within 30 days from the date of delivery.
Liabilities and Indemnifications
- COMPANY is not obligated to capture specific moments or poses.
- In case of service disruption beyond COMPANY’s control, COMPANY will not be held responsible.
- COMPANY is not liable for data loss or technological failures, however, a full refund will be made if COMPANY is unable to deliver the soft-copy deliverables stated in this contract.
- Deliverables will not be retained after 30 days of delivery.
- COMPANY is not responsible for injuries occurring during the shoot.
- Quality deliverables are ensured, but COMPANY is not obligated to meet aesthetic preferences.
- COMPANY reserves the right to update these terms when needed.
